Crystals modify Peroxide skills. The official About Crystals card says a skill can use one crystal at a time and that crystal effects do not stack on the same move. Choose by the move’s job and the crystal’s tradeoff, not by rarity alone. Current descriptions and cooldown changes must be checked in the live ability menu.
Currently documented effect groups
Movement and positioning
Wind is historically associated with a brief dash or defensive movement before the attached move. Terra and Clutch affect positioning through a wall or pull concept.
Resource and sustain
Spirit historically reduces Reiatsu cost, while Ichor adds healing behavior. Check caps, penalties, and whether the move type supports the effect.
Damage and pressure
Inferno, Exponentiality, Onslaught, Glass, and Null cards describe different damage or pressure modifications, often with timing or later-damage tradeoffs.
Control and denial
Shadow, Force, Chains, Despair, Degression, Creep, Hunger, and Reap describe debuff, knockback, link, resource, or healing-control roles.
Protection and mastery
Aegis adds protection under historical rules, while Prodigy supports skill mastery. Current armor, cooldown, and special-case behavior need testing.
Ultimate crystals
Ultimate Prodigy, Conduction, Aegis, Ichor, and Shadow are distinct high-end modifiers with stronger effects or drawbacks. Confirm the exact variant.
These are known official-card identities, not a complete current roster. The card set spans several years and includes recently active but empty or revised Ultimate entries. Leave unknown effects unset.
Choose the move first
Name the move’s job: opener, extender, finisher, movement, defense, healing, area control, or boss damage. Then choose a crystal that strengthens that job without breaking the route.
A knockback modifier on a close-range extender may push the target out. A delayed-damage effect may disrupt a tight confirm. A resource reducer can be more valuable than raw damage when it lets the full rotation finish.
Attach one change at a time
Record the skill, mastery, scaling, base cooldown, cost, target, and damage before attaching. Apply one crystal through the current interface. Repeat the same test and inspect new cooldown, cost, hit behavior, visual mark, and recovery.
Do not attach valuable crystals to an untested move. Confirm whether removal returns, destroys, or overwrites the crystal. If the menu warns of loss, stop and plan.
PvE choices
Boss damage modifiers matter only when the move lands in safe windows. Movement, armor, healing, or resource effects can improve consistency. Area control can help groups, while knockback can scatter targets and slow clears.
Test against the actual activity. A crystal designed for NPC damage may have different PvP value. Record boss, phase, stats, and current version.
PvP choices
Confirm quality, escape denial, anti-heal, resource pressure, armor, and recovery matter. A large effect with obvious startup can be countered. Team formats can increase the value of Chains or area control, while 1v1 may reward reliable confirms.
Latency changes whether a route is real. Test with consenting players in the region and mode you intend to play.
Ultimate crystal tradeoffs
Historical Ultimate cards describe strong effects paired with costs such as added cooldown, longer wind-up, lost mode bar, or post-use limitations. Read the live text fully. “Ultimate” does not mean free power.
Use the crystal only when the move’s importance justifies the drawback. Keep an unmodified fallback skill for periods when the altered move is unavailable.
Acquisition and Time Relics
The official item cards connect raid Time Relics with a crystal exchange and Unstable Time Remnants with Ultimate Crystal choices. Confirm current NPC, exchange amount, reward pool, and variant before farming or redeeming.
Do not confuse Reiatsu Crystal with Product Essence or an accessory. Record the source and exact item received on the reward screen.
Trading and values
Crystal value depends on effect demand, current meta, rarity, source access, and whether the exact variant is tradeable. Use Crystal Values for dated comparisons. Do not price every common or Ultimate crystal from one old list.
Inspect the item name at acceptance. Similar labels can hide a regular and Ultimate version. Never run a script or share credentials for a trade.
Troubleshooting
If the effect does not appear, confirm the crystal is attached to the correct move, the effect condition was met, and another crystal did not overwrite it. Test on a valid target outside cooldown.
If the route became worse, compare range, knockback, delay, cost, and recovery. Remove only when the current interface explains the outcome. Keep a record before changing.
A good crystal makes one move better at its assigned job and leaves the whole rotation usable. Recheck after updates because exact percentages, durations, cooldowns, and rarity bands are balance-sensitive.
