Peroxide Shikai Guide

Unlock Peroxide Shikai through meditation and the inner spirit, then test activation, moves, scaling, and reroll choices.

Shikai is the Soul Reaper’s first major form in Peroxide. The official Trello connects it to an early level gate, N-key meditation, an orb sequence, learning the inner spirit’s name, and defeating that spirit. Older cards name level 15, but the current meditation response and tutorial prompt should decide whether your character is ready.

Reach the inner world

Confirm Soul Reaper race and leave combat. Press N according to the current control prompt. If meditation is unavailable, check level, race, cooldown, and whether a prior quest must be completed. Do not use an Arrancar or Quincy menu guide for this step.

Complete the orb or inner-world tasks shown by the live game. Speak to the spirit after each milestone. The spirit’s changed dialogue is the most useful progress signal because hidden requirements can outlive old numerical guides.

Learn the spirit name and fight

The Shikai route asks you to identify or learn the inner spirit’s name before the boss step. Read the presented choices carefully. If the game supplies a clue, keep it with your character record rather than guessing from a form list.

Prepare a small kit: block, dash, a short M1 punish, one reliable skill, and enough Vitality to see the boss’s pattern. If the spirit copies your equipped moves, remove a dangerous long-range or crowd-control option that helps the opponent more than it helps you.

Use the first attempt to learn approach, guard break, and recovery. Keep offense short until the boss completes a recognizable sequence. Win through repeatable openings rather than a single all-in combo.

Confirm the unlock

After victory, return to the spirit or menu if prompted. Verify that Shikai is equipped and that its identity appears in the mode or ability interface. Do not spend Product Essence until you have seen the current moves and scaling.

Fill the mode bar through normal combat and use G when the live interface shows the required state. Older documentation describes partial-bar activation and later rank changes, but the current meter is the authority.

Build around the move set

Inspect every Shikai move for Strength or Spirit scaling, range, resource, cooldown, and role. Choose one opener, one safe conversion, one control or movement option, and a way to end without being punished. Cover missing roles with Soul Reaper or general skills.

Test on a moving enemy. Record whether the move starts a combo, extends one, guard breaks, moves your character, or leaves a punishable recovery. Visual size alone does not prove a hitbox or invulnerability.

Rarity and rerolls

The official board has an Element Rarities card, but its percentages and pool have changed over time. Treat the live reroll interface as the current pool. Rarity does not guarantee the best result for your stats or activity.

Before rerolling, write down the Shikai name, unlocked moves, clan effects, stat allocation, and remaining Product Essence. Decide whether you need range, group control, a safer confirm, or a different scaling direction. Keep enough resources to recover from a bad roll.

Train toward Bankai

Use Shikai in quests, modes, and ordinary fights while continuing ranks and stat development. Return to meditation periodically and read the spirit’s dialogue. Later activity progress leads toward the harder Bankai challenge.

Do not rush a glass-cannon boss allocation during normal leveling. A balanced training setup often reaches the requirement more consistently. Open Soul Reaper Progression for the full route and Bankai when the spirit offers the advanced fight.

Fix common problems

If N does nothing, leave combat and verify race and early requirement. If the orb sequence stalls, check the active objective and speak to the spirit again. If the boss overwhelms you, simplify copied moves, add survivability, and shorten attacks.

If Shikai unlocks but G fails, confirm the form is equipped, the meter is ready, and the area allows transformation. If no move appears, check the current move-unlock system and mastery state rather than rerolling immediately.

Shikai is successful when you can activate it on purpose, name the role of each move, and use a short route without exhausting Reiatsu. That foundation matters more than an unsupported tier position.
