Peroxide Progression Bosses

Progression bosses unlock or advance a race-specific form. They are not ordinary public raids: entry comes from meditation, a faction NPC, XCution dialogue, an apartment computer, or Menos Forest. Before changing a build, confirm that the current game says your character is eligible and that you entered the correct encounter.

Match boss to unlock

Use the exact route. Defeating a public raid with the same anime character theme does not complete a private form trial unless the current game explicitly credits it.

Build for learning

Equip block, movement, a short M1 punish, one reliable skill, and a defensive or control option. Add enough Vitality to see more than one sequence. Keep Reiatsu sufficient for the basic route.

If the boss reflects or copies your kit, remove moves that are more dangerous in its hands. A simpler hotbar reduces surprises and makes cues easier to recognize.

Read one phase at a time

On the first attempt, do not spend everything at the opening. Observe approach, guard behavior, tracking, hit count, last attack, and recovery. Use the shortest punish, then reset distance.

Treat any transformation, add wave, or arena change as a new phase. Preserve healing and long cooldowns until you know what follows. Record the phase that defeats you so the next change has a target.

Stats and scaling

Use the current move descriptions. A Strength boss build should rely on attacks that actually scale with Strength; a Spirit build should rely on supported mode or Kido-style attacks. Keep other equipment stable while testing.

A glass-cannon allocation can work for a scripted strategy, but it is poor for learning when one mistake ends the attempt. Start survivable, then remove excess health only after the complete route is consistent.

Race-specific preparation

For Soul Reaper, check inner-spirit dialogue and simplify Shikai before Bankai. For Quincy, keep one answer to close pressure alongside ranged tools. For Fullbringer, verify the cellphone, headquarters, apartment, and computer steps before blaming combat.

Death and reset cost

Before entering, identify where death returns you, whether the attempt preserves a checkpoint, and whether consumed items stay spent. Do not use a rare consumable until you can repeatedly reach the relevant phase.

If the encounter closes after defeat, record the exact re-entry action. A good farming or mastery method includes travel and reset time, not only the boss timer.

Confirm the reward

After victory, read the on-screen unlock and inspect the ability menu. Complete any return dialogue. Test mode activation in a safe area with the current meter.

Do not assume the form unlocked because the boss disappeared. Server lag or a missed quest state can require another confirmation. Preserve a screenshot without account-sensitive data if the result is missing.

Common failures

If the boss is absent, verify race, first form, rank, stats, activity progress, NPC dialogue, and current server. If the boss uses a move you cannot answer, remove it from your own copied kit when possible or identify its startup.

If damage is low, check scaling and mode state before rerolling. If a phase resets, determine whether the current checkpoint exists and what condition activates it. Do not import a checkpoint rule from an old card without observing it.

Progression bosses are gates, not drop farms. The winning plan is the shortest repeatable route that earns the form and leaves you able to use it.
