Peroxide’s desktop control language centers on movement, interaction, basic attacks, blocking, dashing, abilities, meditation, and transformation. The official Roblox description highlights Q, E, G, N, V, B, F, and F plus M2, while the official Trello’s Basic Controls card adds context for light attacks, heavy attacks, guard breaks, push counters, and dropping items. Check the live tutorial before relying on any old mapping.
Core desktop actions
The same key can behave differently by race or state. N is associated with meditation for Soul Reaper and Arrancar contexts, while Quincy documentation describes a device action. G is commonly the mode key, but the equipped form and meter determine what happens. Never test a transformation while assuming another race’s requirements.
Movement and camera practice
Use WASD to move and the mouse to keep the active threat visible. Practice Q first as a positioning tool, not only as a panic escape. The official controls card says the dash develops into flashstep behavior after sufficient Agility; confirm the live threshold because the card is older than the current update.
Choose two landmarks and move between them while rotating the camera. Then fight one weak target and keep it centered without attacking. Good camera control makes blocking, push counters, and ability aiming much easier than memorizing a longer combo.
Basic combat sequence
Start with one or two light attacks and stop before the full commitment. Observe recovery. Test a heavy attack against a blocking target to learn the guard-break relationship described by the official card. Then hold F and watch how the opponent’s attack affects your guard.
The Trello describes a heavy input during pressure on your block as a push counter. Treat that as a live test, not a guaranteed timing window: hold block, wait for a readable hit, use the current heavy input, and record whether the enemy is pushed away. Connection delay and a changed patch can alter the result.
Abilities, hotbar and mode meter
Bind frequently used skills where you can reach them without releasing movement. Keep one opener, one reliable damage tool, one movement or control option, and one defensive answer if your current kit provides them. This role-based layout is easier to remember than assigning keys by rarity.
G commonly activates the equipped Shikai, Resurrection, Schrift, Fullbring, or later form when its meter condition is met. Read the specific Abilities page because early and advanced forms do not always use the same meter state. If G does nothing, check that the form is equipped, the bar is ready, and you are allowed to activate it in the current area.
Meditation and inner systems
N is central to Soul Reaper meditation and inner-spirit interactions after the relevant requirement. Arrancar documentation also uses meditation for weapon or ability management. A Quincy may use N for its race device outside combat. If N opens nothing, confirm race, level, combat status, and whether the required item is equipped.
Do not press every menu key during a duel. Learn which actions lock movement or require being out of combat. Open inner menus near a safe landmark, make one change, leave the menu, and test the result on a predictable target.
Interaction and dropping items
Hold E when an NPC, portal, training station, shop, or object shows an interaction prompt. If the prompt does not complete, move closer, face the object, release other actions, and let the area finish loading. Some NPCs also require faction, reputation, rank, or quest state.
The official controls card warns that the equals key can drop items. Treat dropping as risky. Do not test it with a rare accessory, Hogyoku, Time Remnant, crystal, or trade item. Confirm whether the current inventory marks an item droppable before using any ground-exchange method.
Mobile and controller use
Mobile and controller mappings are not fully documented by the current first-party pages used here. Use the live action labels and touch buttons. Verify that block, dash, camera, interact, mode, and at least one escape skill remain reachable without covering important UI.
On controller, describe actions rather than copying keyboard letters. Roblox platform bindings can depend on device support and the experience’s current input implementation. If prompts flicker between keyboard and controller, disconnect duplicate devices and rejoin before diagnosing a missing action.
Troubleshooting an input
First test the input in a safe area and confirm the chat box or another text field is not focused. Reopen the tutorial or settings, reset only the suspect binding if the game offers remapping, and reconnect the device. Avoid deleting configuration files or installing third-party input tools.
If one key works in menus but not during combat, check cooldown, Reiatsu, stun, guard break, mode meter, equipped skill, and combat-state restrictions. If every input is delayed, test network latency and frame stability. A control problem can be a server or performance problem rather than a bad key.
Build a reliable layout
Place survival actions before damage actions: block, dash, escape, camera reset, and interact should be comfortable. Add your most frequent attack skills, then place long-cooldown or situational moves farther away. Test the layout during movement, not while standing at a dummy.
Recheck controls after a major update or race change. The official sources establish the action set, but the live game decides the current input. Pair this page with Stats for flashstep and resource context, then use the matching progression guide for race-specific menus.
